This six week class will introduce the basic processes of pottery, including hand building, wheel throwing, trimming, making handles, and glazing. The focus will be on making functional bowls and mugs.

The class is limited to six participants to provide as much individual attention as possible
Cancellation and Refund Policy: If a registered student drops out after the first class they will receive a refund of $150, provided they give notice no later than 48 hours before the second scheduled class.

There will be no refunds if a student cancels after the second class.
About Sinjin Dixon-Warren
Sinjin has been actively making pots since 1985 when he first took an evening class at Central Technical High School in Toronto, when he was a graduate student in chemistry. He has been a member of Gladstone Clayworks Cooperative since 2013 and he is a regular participant in the Ottawa Guild of Potters Christmas Sale. Since Sinjin has PhD in chemistry you will have a chance to learn a bit about the more technical aspects of ceramics.
