  • All Levels on the Wheel

This 6 week “All Levels on the Wheel” class will be a chance to try throwing clay on the wheel.

Classes are Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:00 pm, starting February 3rd.

Cost is $350.00 per student (cancelations accepted until January 30) PLUS $40.00 cash payable to the instructor at the first class for clay.

This is an all levels throwing class for anyone from true beginners to people have already fallen in love with clay, and who want a chance to develop their skills with a well-seasoned teacher. This 6 week class will give students the chance to learn the process of throwing, from preparing the clay, to creating, trimming, and decorating their work. We’ll talk about managing expectations for true beginners, and pushing the possibilities for those with a bit more experience.
Caroline is a graduate of the ceramics program at NSCAD U, and has nearly 20 years’ experience in adult education. She loves seeing students experience the full range of emotions that come with learning, from the discomfort of leaving your comfort zone, to the laughter that comes with disasters, and the sense of pride you feel when things ‘click’, and you find yourself with an exciting new skill.
